PM British Official Visit: Britain will Increase Business Ties with India

India business opportunities made British leaders give more focus on the business ties between these two countries. David Cameron, British Prime Minister, arrived in India on Tuesday (July, 26) with some of his country’s chief executives and top trade officials who will increase business ties between India and Britain.
William Hague, British foreign secretary, Vince cable, secretary of state for business, George Osborne, chancellor of the Exchequer are accompanying Mr. Cameron. The British official group will meet with Manmohan Singh, India Prime Minister and other politicians. But it seems the British Prime Minister and his delegation will be much time to interact with Indian business executives.
One of the Mr. Cameron’s schedule in India is attending crowd of hundreds at the Bangalore headquarters of Infosys, the information technology giant that helped make India the world’s outsourcing center.
On the other schedule, Mr. Osborne will introduce the British telecommunications company Vodafone’s new solar-powered mobile handset on the Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai. He will deliver a speech titled “U.K. and India: A New Economic Partnership” to a crowd businessmen.
British and India business ties have started in recent years ago, lots of British companies like Marks & Spencer department store and Bentley Motors high-end carmaker have started investing here.
Stephen Phipson, president of Smiths Detection, said India is an incredibly dynamic market that will grow substantially in the next five to ten years. Mr. Phipson is one of the executives who accompanying Mr. Cameron on this official visit to increase business ties with India.
